Ride for the Roses 2020
This year the Ride for the Roses events take place on Sunday, February 2, 2020. You can participate again for the various sport options being: Walk, Ride and/or Swim for the Roses.
* Swim for the Roses: online registration is required in order to participate.
07:00 Start Walk for the Roses at Brionplein, Otrobanda (5km and 7,8km)
08:00 Start all routes Ride for the Roses from parking area Mambo Beach BLVD
08:00 Start Crossfit for the Roses @ Madero main stage
09:00 Departure shuttle busses from parking place Mambo Beach BLVD to Jan Thiel beach for participants of the Swim for the Roses. Latest bus leaves at 10.45.
11:30 Start Kids Swim: Lions Dive beach area - Wet & Wild beach
12:00 Start Competition Swim: Zanzibar - Wet & Wild beach
12:10 Start Classic (Recreation) Swim: Zanzibar - Wet & Wild beach
08:00 - 15:00 Activities all day long @ Mambo beach BLVD and Wet 'n Wild
- Adults (12+): Participating in ONE activity Nafl. 20, TWO or more activities Nafl. 30.
- Children (up to 11 years): Participating in ONE activity Nafl. 15, TWO or more activities Nafl. 20.
- Competition Swim: Nafl. 30 Participating in a second activity in addition to the swim Nafl. 40.
Refreshments, a snack and a T-shirt is included with every registration.
After registration you will receive your confirmation via email.
Please print the attachment of this email and take it with you when you go to Orco Bank to pay for your participation and to pick-up your t-shirt. If you have no option to print, please make sure you can show the attachment on your mobile device at Orco Bank.
Payments will take place from Monday 27 through Friday January 31, 2020 from 8.30 am to 3.30 pm and on Saturday February 1, 2020 from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm. (Orco Bank, landhuis Cerrito, Schottegatweg Oost z/n.)

Crossfit for the Roses
CrossFit is a rising sport, based on a methodology of training by which athletes improve on a multiple myriad of physical skills, i.e. Power, Speed, Strength, Agility, with the added benefit of improving overall fitness, losing weight, and improving body aesthetics.
How to register?
To participate, you will have to fill in an entry form and send it to one of the co-owners of CrossFit Willemstad, via email@example.com
Your company’s team can be made of minimum of 5 athletes, or maximum of 8. Seeing how there are going to be 1 hour workouts, your company schould be prepared to have enough athletes to keep moving for the entire hour.
in the 1 hour workout (WOD - as we called - Workout Of the Day) you will rotate through a series of movements, including but not limited to Rowing, Biking, Burpees, Box Jump Overs,
KB work, Plate work, and Medicine Ball work. The way we will determine the winners will be by the total amount of distance you accumulate during your hour.
Due to the explosive nature and extreme endurance required for the event, kids under the age of 14 will not be allowed to participate.
